EXANTE’s web platform
EXANTE’s bespoke trading platform is available on desktop and mobile. Here, we look at the web version of the platform.
EXANTE’s web platform provides traders with a fast and convenient way to start trading right in their web browser. No matter where, traders can stay on top of the markets with EXANTE’s intuitive and easy-to-use trading tool, which is also equipped with powerful features. For web platform users, there is no need to install a programme to trade – traders can open up EXANTE’s terminal in their web browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Opera, or Firefox.
The Instruments tab is where traders can find all the instruments available. They are grouped by type and sorted in alphabetical order, making them easy to sort through. Traders can start typing in an instrument’s name or ticker to narrow down the list, or further expand the nodes of the instruments tree.
Options are not visible in the instruments tree by default. Traders must visit the trading platform’s Settings and flip the ‘Show Options’ switch. The loading process may take up to several minutes depending on the internet connection speed. When the tree is updating, traders will see the progress bar above the search field.
EXANTE’s Quote Monitor provides traders with real-time data quote streams. Traders can drag and drop up to 100 instruments to the Monitor to keep track of their dynamics, helping them stay on top of the market. Quote Monitor collects all essential data in a trading session, including the instrument’s name and description, bid/ask/mid prices and bid/ask sizes, last quote update time, price changes in absolute and percentage terms, and quote feed status.
The web platform allows traders to visualise their financial data on a chart and aggregate it using different time intervals. Traders can also add drawings or indicators, pick a suitable chart style, and set up other preferences.
One thing that makes EXANTE stand out from its industry peers is allowing traders to collaborate and share information with one another. A trader can show their chart to a friend simply by copying a link right from the address bar. This shareable link features not only the instrument but also the timeframe as well. If a trader’s friend has not registered an account with EXANTE, traders can still share a link to the demo chart. Quotes in the demo are delayed by at least 30 minutes.
EXANTE offers various account types for traders to use. These are the demo and live trading accounts. Below, we break down what makes them different, so traders can have a better understanding.
A demo account is automatically given to traders once they register an account with EXANTE. While the interface is similar to that of EXANTE’s live accounts, there is one fundamental difference. Demo accounts only allow traders to paper trade, meaning there are no monetary risks or rewards. Instead of funding the account themselves, EXANTE provides virtual 1,000,000 EUR for traders to practise their trading skills. The amount of web currency can be adjusted by contacting customer support. It is also important to remember that market data in EXANTE’s demo accounts are delayed by at least 30 minutes.
Live accounts allow traders to potentially profit from their trades but also come with the risk of monetary loss. There are two types of live accounts that traders can open – one for an individual trader, and another for a corporate trader.
An individual account requires a minimal funding of 10,000 EUR/GBP. The documents needed to open an account include proof of identity (such as a passport or government-issued identity card) and proof of residence (such as a utility bill or bank statement). EXANTE requires traders to use two different documents for confirmation – one document cannot be for both.
A corporate account requires a minimal funding of 50,000 EUR/GBP. There are more documents needed to open an account. They include proof of registration, proof of active status, proof of identity, Tax Identification Number (TIN), power of attorney, and more. Do note the On boarding department may request additional documents.
Overall, EXANTE is a leading brokerage in its industry, and its web trading account offers a robust and comprehensive platform for all types of traders. The platform’s intuitive design and accessibility make the brokerage firm suitable for experienced traders and beginners alike. The various account types EXANTE offers also can help to hone a trader’s skills and strategies, making them more prepared when executing a trade. If you are a trader looking to create a well-balanced portfolio in a superior trading environment, EXANTE is an investment firm worth considering.
